Most clients describe it as discomfort rather than pain — similar to eyebrow plucking. A topical anaesthetic cream is applied before the procedure to significantly reduce sensations. Pain tolerance is individual.

How long does permanent makeup last?

Depending on the technique and skin type — 1–3 years. Powder Brows last 2–3 years, microblading 1–2 years, lip pigmentation and eyeliner 2–3 years. Oily skin and sun exposure reduce longevity.

What's the difference between Microblading and Powder Brows?

Microblading creates individual hair strokes that mimic natural brow hairs — the effect is natural and delicate. Powder Brows create a soft, powdery shadow similar to eyeshadow-filled brows. Powder Brows last longer and suit oily skin better.

How long does the first appointment take?

The first visit usually takes 2–3 hours, including consultation, shape drawing, and the procedure itself. Touch-up (after 4–6 weeks) takes 1–2 hours.

What happens to the skin right after the procedure?

Right after the procedure the colour looks significantly darker — this is normal. Minor scabbing may appear in the first 2–3 days. The final colour can only be assessed after full healing — 4–6 weeks.

How should I care for the treated area?

For the first 7 days, keep water and cosmetics away from the treated area. From day 4, apply Bepanthene or the recommended healing cream twice daily. Never scratch or pick the scabbing — it falls off naturally.

What should I avoid after the procedure?

For at least 7–10 days avoid saunas, swimming pools, intense sweating, and sun exposure. Avoid exfoliating products (AHA/BHA acids, retinol) for at least 4 weeks — they wash out pigment.

Yes — a touch-up after 4–6 weeks is a standard part of the process. During healing, pigment may settle unevenly, and the touch-up fills any patchy areas and refines the shape.
